A hybridized breed of Cutthroat and Rainbow found in a number of streams. They resemble both trout usually having a purplish side strip as well as orange on the gill.  Exhibiting behaviours from both species, they generally have a strong feisty fight, similar to a Rainbow, and feed by sipping from the top and diving, like a Cutthroat.  Although no records exist for this subspecies they are commonly caught around the 18 inch mark.
